These are absolutely amazing! This must have taken a lot of patience and care with your mouse. What was the hardest part?
ReplyDeleteThank you Miss Holland,
DeleteThe hardest part for both of them would've been the faces, especially the eyes.
How clever Kata! You are very talented. I especially love Moana- you have captured her perfectly. Thank you for sharing this.
ReplyDelete-Miss Pownall
Morena Miss Pownall,
DeleteThank you, it was difficult but I eventually got there.
Wow Kata, you have really mastered this skill, I'm impressed with the initiative you've taken to do it. You'll have teach me when we get back to school, as I'm learning lots on line too!
ReplyDeleteMorning Ms Daines,
DeleteThank you and yes I'll have to teach you!
Hi Kata,
ReplyDeleteThese tracings are amazing! I am so impressed, especially with the one on the 4th slide, there was so many characters to trace. Maybe you could do heihei from Moana as well or Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast. Do you think you could try it with photographs of people?
Miss Hart
Hey Miss Hart,
DeleteActually the last slide was from the internet but thank you for the compliments and those are some great suggestions, heihei will definitely be a challenge.

ReplyDeleteKia ora Kata,
ReplyDeleteMoana is amazing, you must have amazing patience and a real eye for detail. I have tried to do this after watching video instructions however I found I could not get the fine details. How did you make the strands of hair?
I was thinking that a next step could be to ensure the background of Olaf was white however the more I looked at it I quite like the checks in contrast to the white of Olaf.
We have been watching a lot of Disney+ and I wonder if the Beast from Beauty and the Beast would be a good challenge.
Nga mihi,
Mark
Kia Ora Mr Maddren,
DeleteThank you I appreciate it a lot, Moana was actually a lot harder to do then Olaf Because there's a lot more detail to add. I was thinking about changing the background to white but I quite like the checkers pattern as well, Beast would be a great challenge
- Kata :)
Kia ora Kate,
ReplyDeleteI am very impressed with the pictures you have created. I can tell they must have taken lots of hard work, patience and perseverance. I can see that you have lots of suggestions to try next. Personally I'd love to see Maui from Moana, though I imagine his tattoos would be difficult.
Thanks for sharing,
:) Sharon - Te Ara Tūhura Education Programme Leader
Aloha Sharon,
DeleteThank you and funny you say I should do Maui because i was thinking about it and then I took a look at his tattoos and then I decided that I wouldn't do him but I'm always up for a challenge so I'll definitely consider it again
- Kata :)
